Rio Pantouw is the lead attorney of PRIOR who orchestrate the lawyer team for the legal work engaged. He is a certified advocate under Indonesian Advocates Association PERADI (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia), and an official Administrator & Receiver of Bankruptcy Law registered in the Ministry of Law and Human Rights through the association of AKPI (Asosiasi Kurator dan Pengurus Indonesia).

Prior establishing PRIOR Attorneys at Law, Rio previously worked in two of Indonesia’s leading corporate law firms and further decided to expand his professional legal insight in a boutique litigation law firm. His extensive exposure and experience of both corporate and litigation practices enable him to plan comprehensively in mitigating client’s business from future potential litigation risks perspective, and also on the other side enable him to strategize in litigating client’s legal issue from a commercial perspective through an effective and efficient method.

  • Counsel to Roadgrip Ltd, a United Kingdom based company in their investment plan for involvement in Moto GP Indonesia Race in Mandalika, by advising the incorporation of a subsidiary and its further operational activities.

  • Counsel to Art Moments Jakarta in convening their International art fair exhibition, and liaising with the client’s counterpart for troubleshooting potential issues for the project.

  • Counsel to PT Tower Bersama in their undisclosed case in relation with debt suspension payment of one of their vendors.

  • Counsel to the shareholders of PT First National Glassware in the bankruptcy case of such company, liaising with all relevant parties towards the fulfilment of insolvency process.

  • Counsel to Mau Belajar Apa (PT Avodah Royal Mulia), a start-up company with educational base on their initial entry for involvement in Indonesian Government Program of 1st Batch Kartu Prakerja, which successfully enable the client to close the deal with win-win term, despite of the rigid and multiple requirements from the Indonesian Government.

  • Acting as attorney on behalf of a United Kingdom tourism company, on the winding up of the client’s subsidiary due to covid-19 situation, the goal was successfully achieved by full compliance of the regulations, and full package payments to the subsidiaries’ employees.

  • Acting as attorney on behalf of a heavy equipment business company to file a bankruptcy lawsuit to the client’s debtor in the Commercial Court of Jakarta on the basis of multiple breach and default payment to the Client, granted a result of bankruptcy for the debtor from the related court.

  • Counsel to a Singaporean company to act as a creditor in a bankruptcy case against a debtor of an Indonesian tin ore business company.

  • Counsel to an undisclosed foundation in social & humanity sectors, covering their legal compliance and operational aspects, and further formation of its business structures for self-sustain financial goal, for setting such foundation as the holding entity of its subsidiaries.

  • Acting as attorney on behalf of a PT PMA in their shareholders deadlock dispute within the client’s subsidiary, which successfully being settled amicably.
